The Friday night concert and dance this year will be a Steampunk Masquerade.

We’ve lined up what people voted most for last year: Real Ballroom music with a twist. I hope you all enjoy what we’ve put together.

The event begins at 9pm sharp, and will run until 12am.

At midnight we will have the unmasking, and after the unmasking we will switch formats to contemporary dance and continue until the crowd is exhausted and satisfied.

Steampunk or Victorian Formal attire with a mask is preferred, but not entirely required. Formal wear based off of an Anime Character cosplay, Sci fi, or an appropriate video game is also acceptable. If you have any questions as to what will fit the theme please feel free to post those questions on this thread. Please respect the fact that we’re trying to build and maintain a formal atmosphere at this event.

The theme for this year’s Tokyo in Tulsa is Steampunk, so the concert is going to be heavily steampunk themed. The Ghosts Project (with Paul Mercer, Davis Petterson, and Nathaniel Johnstone of Abney Park) will be joining us this year. Also joining the line us is Jill Tracy. Check them out here.
