I agree with you Sorcha, many people who critique others work by saying that is sucks, really isn't critiquing it's more putting them down to make themselves feel bigger. The proper way to critique someones work is to tell them what flaws are in the drawing and explain (nicely) how to fix it.

i run into those types all the time. and its true just ignore them and they will leave you alone.
i wish i had a talent for stories or art like you guys. the only thing i can do is lift heavy things and drive.

... I was just telling sas that they shouldn't be offended by the "nice" remark lol. I don't actually take what people say like that to heart. and hey, if they tell me that, then I have something I need to go back and check. maybe I looked over a detail.
