So last year's inaugural Manga Library was a great success. Over
12 different contributors we had a collection of
over 600 books and materials! The TNT collection
multiplied from donations to now exactly 200 books & materials! And we had nearly
600 con-goers visit and enjoy the room!
So here's to you, our contributors and patrons! Without you, our happy department wouldn't exist, so thank you!
Once again we need whoever is willing and able to lend manga collections to the library!
We are gearing up for this year's library, and it's off to a great start. I have acquired an excellent team. Here's our promotional bookmark:

It details a lot of information about the Library, including this year's sections:
Manga by series 漫画はシリーズによって分類
Manga in Japanese 日本語で漫画
Japanese Magazines にほんごの雑誌
Books on Japanese Language 日本語に関する書籍
Books on Japanese Culture 日本文化に関する書籍
Storybooks in Japanese 児童書日本のThe upcoming goal is to add one more section,
Steampunk スチームパンク, especially if we can get books from the Steamboy series!
So once again this year if you would like to contribute by lending any books you are willing to that would fall under the above categories, then you would make TNT's Library spectacular again this year and become an acknowledged benefactor in our Library. It's really encouraged to try to lend more than just manga if possible, like if you've studied Japanese and have your old textbook lying around then bring it on by for others to explore. Please, e-mail me your real name and the collections (including volume #s) of the manga or the titles and ISBN numbers of the non- you would like to lend. My e-mail is KBDudley@TokyoinTulsa.com. They don't have to be complete collections. Scattered volumes are entirely acceptable. As before
NO MANGA WILL LEAVE THE MANGA LIBRARY! I will be keeping a very strict inventory, and will have help very actively monitoring all participants. All bags and badges will be checked at the door, and publication courtesies are maintained (meaning we don't allow for harming of binding or pages). I consistently update a digital inventory of all borrowed books, that is checked daily during Tokyo in Tulsa. There were no literary casualties last year, and we will be sure to keep it that way this year.
REMEMBER we can't expect our newer manga connoisseurs to know which collections out there are great, if we don't introduce them to examples of such enjoyable fictions soon!
Donations are welcome, of course, and greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time, consideration, and effort,
Krista Beth

P.S. Here is the list of manga missing from the TNT collection. These particular manga are what we need the most:

UPDATE: Just as a reminder all lending contributors must mark their collection of books with some unique mark like a sticker on the binding or their name in the cover.
