I could help you guys out getting this music as I have a large chunk. I've always offered up a J-rock panel for this year <3

Ehhhhhh. Not a fan of Vocaloid cos it's mostly a glorified sound board and you set it to techno stuff or something. Even if I had a JRock room this year, I wouldn't have been playing them. LOL.

Most of those bands will be explored and I have a few ideas for panels for Japanese Music... One's been submitted and I'm still brewing over another, but we'll see. XD

Kash:
Also, Japanese music at this con.. don't hold your breath. However! There is a rave thread that you can suggest this stuff to.

Vulgar:
That's part of the reason I submitted a panel this year about Jrock. I did a typo and meant also, not always**

Granted Vocaloid is techno, but it's still huge in Japan now. They have even sold out Vocalpid hologram concert. I still think it should be explored.

I figured I would suggest a few big bands. It was asked so I answered. I just hope they listen. Since it's a con that tries to include Japanese culture as well, it should be included~

Sorcha:
I agree vulgar, that all styles of Japanese music should be explored and if you would like to submit a panel to that effect please feel free.  We don't run an actual J-music room anymore because it was extremely time consuming to run through out the entire convention.  That is the reason we have gone to panels about the different style of Japanese music.  This also means there can be much more in depth discussion during the convention.

Also as to Kash's comment about her wanting us to have an actual Japanese band at the convention.  She seems to forget that TnT is only 4 years old and that it cost a great deal of money to bring over a Japanese band.  We are looking to try to bring one over for our 5 year anniversary, but this all depends on what our numbers are for 2011.  If we hit that 5000 mark we may just be able to bring one over.
